Application Fee Waiver

Service members (active-duty, guard, and reserve) and veterans applying to Penn State-undergraduate degree program without being charged an application fee. 

In order to have the application fee waived, service members and veterans must apply to a Penn State undergraduate degree program through either MyPennState, the Coalition App, or the Common App and identify themselves as a service member or veteran at the appropriate place in the application when asked about service in the U.S. Armed Forces.

For military spouses, only Penn State World Campus offers an application fee waiver. To be eligible for a Penn State World Campus application fee waiver, military spouses must apply to a Penn State World Campus associate or bachelor degree program after completing a virtual informational webinar.
